1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Owlink. By accessing or using our mobile applications (iOS and Android), desktop applications (macOS and Windows), and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Owlink ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our"), an independent software developer based in Singapore at 2 VENTURE DRIVE #19-18 VISION EXCHANGE SINGAPORE.
2. Description of Services
Owlink provides an all-in-one secure collaboration platform designed for businesses. Our Services include but are not limited to:
- Secure team messaging and communication
- Task management and workflow tracking
- Human resources and organizational management
- Approval workflows (attendance, reimbursement, leave management)
- Enterprise directory and contact management
- Team workspaces and collaboration tools
- Security features including chat watermarks, message destruction, and screenshot prevention
- Multi-factor authentication and device binding
3. User Registration and Account
To use certain features of our Services, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
You must be at least 18 years old or have reached the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account. If you are using the Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
4. Enterprise Accounts and Administrators
For enterprise customers, designated administrators ("Admins") have special privileges, including:
- Managing user accounts within the organization
- Setting and enforcing security policies
- Accessing audit logs and activity reports
- Configuring approval workflows and permissions
- Managing data retention and deletion policies
Individual users within an enterprise account are subject to both these Terms and any additional policies set by their organization's administrators.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
When using our Services, you agree NOT to:
- Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
- Use the Services for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
- Upload, share, or transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services
- Use the Services to send spam, bulk messages, or unsolicited communications
- Share, distribute, or create content that is defamatory, obscene, or harmful
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent security measures
- Use automated systems or bots without our prior written consent
6. Intellectual Property Rights
The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Owlink and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
Our License to You: Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your internal business purposes.
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, or share through the Services. By using the Services, you grant us a license to host, store, and process your content as necessary to provide the Services.
7. Data Security and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your data. Our security measures include:
- End-to-end encryption for sensitive communications
- Multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Device binding and management
- Chat watermarks (visible and invisible) for leak prevention
- Message destruction capabilities
- Screenshot prevention alerts
- Comprehensive audit logging
- Optional on-premises deployment for regulated industries

8. Subscription and Payments
Some features of the Services may require a paid subscription. If you choose a paid subscription:
- You agree to pay all applicable fees as described at the time of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
- Prices may change with reasonable notice
- Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable app store policies (Apple App Store, Google Play)
For in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the respective platform's payment terms and refund policies apply.
9. Account Termination
By You: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@owlinkteam.com or using the account deletion feature within the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account).
By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful or fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. While we implement robust security measures, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OWLINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Services
- Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any third-party conduct or content on the Services
- Any interruption or cessation of the Services
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Owlink and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Singapore, except where prohibited by law. You may also have rights under consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
